Anniversary Date Night
My folks have been visiting us for the last few days and they're here until Saturday. And since Monday is our (the wife and I) fourth wedding anniversary and Friday is close to it with a free babysitter, the wife and I are going out for our anniversary early. We're very excited about this! We're going to go to a really nice restaurant, go to Barnes and Noble - our favorite place - since we rarely ever get to enjoy ourselves there now. And then, we are going to do something we haven't done together in almost a year: we are going to go to a real live motion picture at the movie theater! I am so excited! Imagine a film buff not being able to go to a film on the big screen! It should almost be a crime!
I have no idea what we're going to see yet, but I'm really psyched. That alone is a wonderful anniversary gift. I still don't know how we'll be able to talk about anything besides the baby. That will be the mystery.

I am excited about it too. It will be fun. We can get out of the car without having to spend 15 mintues getting the diaper bag, baby from the carseat, and then the stroller. :) That will be fun. Happy Anniversary. It has been a wild 4 years!

Once again, this sounds really familiar :)
On Valentine's day, we had a wonderful evening off with excellent dinner and a really wonderful cup of coffee at our favourite café in Helsinki, owned by my friend Costas. But the thing was, when it was around nine o'clock pm, we got so tired that we didn't have strength to do anything else than go home and go to sleep.
Haha, it's so ironic!
Hope you have a wonderful anniversary night off, and ENJOY the Barnes & Noble visit and above all, the movies! ;)

Wow that sounds familiar. Michael and I have been to the theater 1 time together in the 2 years since Jacob was born. We have been on a few other "dates" where we actually had a babysitter, too. Enjoy it and cherish it b/c those times will be few and far between, but it makes it even more special because it's such a rare occurence. Unfortunately, as I am sure you are aware, since we live so far away from any "free" babysitters, we have to use the "paying" kind!! Oh well, it's TOTALLY worth it.
