Gizmo: Not Ready to Kick It Just Yet

medium_000_0491.jpgSo, good news about my dog, Gizmo. He doesn't have to be put down after all. Our friend Rebecca has offered to take him to her grandmother's house in the Kansas City area. Her grandparents apparently travel quite a bit and have a lot of their time invested in Yorkies. And with Gizmo being about nine years old, he'll be in good company. They have other dogs around the same age. He'll get to travel the country with them. He'll have more fun there than he ever did here - where he's cooped up in an upstairs apartment all day. Plus, they will be able to keep him much better up-to-date with his shots and medical treatment as he gets older than we could possibly afford to do. So, in a sense, he'll be in Dog Retirement land. In essense, it will be like he's living in Florida all over again. So, thanks for your prayers. I'm so thrilled he will get to live out his entire life. We will miss him, but at least he has a chance to be happy.

Hey Bryan,

Wanted to let you know I left a comment on your xanga site.

Bless ya,

Hello,

My husband and I live in Ohio. It really has been cold here, sun is shinning today. We are to have a frost this evening.

Please don't get mad that I asked this question .

Do you believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior ( God ).

Fare thee well, Gizmo, and many happy romps travelling around the world! I would have understood the decision you were facing, and I am glad that this seems to have been a better alternative...

Our own pooch is held together with duct tape, it seems. I get where you're coming from, Bryan.

Peace...
